Video Help
Have a video you can't get to play because you don't have the required codec? I suggest downloading Ace Mega Codec. It will install any/all codecs that you could possibly ever need. If you still have a file that won't play in normal WMP, I suggest going to your Start Menu - Programs - Ace Mega Codec and looking for the Media Player Classic. I use this for all my video playback and I never have a problem. If you're a Mac user, I suggest installing VideoLan (VLC) Player.
Want to convert files from one format to another? First make sure you get permission from the original source and then I would suggest using Canopus Procoder. I use this program not only to rip videos from DVD but to convert formats and split files. If you're a Mac user, I suggest reading up on video conversion here.
Not sure what format your file is? I suggest downloading AVI Codec. It will recognize all video formats as far as I've been able to tell.

Below you'll find the video file comparison chart. This should give you a little more information on what this all means. For more information on ripping, capturing, converting, etc of video files, please check with VideoHelp.com. This is the best resource on the net.
